Advantage Rent A Car Driver qualification

Driving Age: Renters must be at least 21 years of age and possess a major credit card and valid driver's license. Young driver fee of up $25 per day applicable for renters age 21-24. Renters and/or any authorized drivers under the age of 25 may not be eligible to rent specialty vehicles including vans, trucks, and sport utility vehicles.

Authorized Drivers: Additional Driver Fees. Additional drivers may be added to the rental contract. An additional fee of $10 for each driver per day may be applicable. Contact your local Advantage office for more details

Global driving qualifications: For non-U .S. citizens, the renter must have a passport, international driver's license and major credit card in his/her name.
Dollar Rent A Car Driver qualification

Driving Age: The minimum age to rent a vehicle at most locations in the United States and Canada is 21 years of age. Please refer to the Local Policies for specific information on driver ages at the location where you intend to rent and the applicable charge for drivers 21 to 24 years of age.

Authorized Drivers: The DOLLAR vehicle may be driven only by an authorized driver. An authorized driver is the renter and any additional person who appears at the time of rental and signs the rental agreement. All authorized drivers must satisfy our age requirements, have a valid drivers license, and fulfill our other qualifications, which vary by location. Employers and co-employees of renters renting on corporate rate plans, if properly licensed and meet our age requirements, are authorized to drive the vehicle while acting within the scope of their employment duties. See our credit requirements and drivers license requirements below. The authorized driver and any additional authorized drivers may be subject to a driver record check (See below). No other persons are authorized to drive the vehicle.
